Privacy Policy — CopyPaste Elementor
Last updated: July 26, 2026
CopyPaste Elementor (“the extension”) is developed and maintained by ID7 Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what information the extension accesses, what it stores, and — just as importantly — what it does not do with your data.
SUMMARY
CopyPaste Elementor runs entirely on your device. It does not collect analytics, does not track your browsing activity, and does not transmit any data to our servers or to any third party. All information the extension stores stays in your browser’s local storage and is never sent anywhere over the network.
WHAT THE EXTENSION ACCESSES
To convert a webpage into Elementor-ready content, the extension needs to read the HTML and styling of the page you choose to capture. This happens only:
– when you actively open the extension panel on a page, and
– when you click to capture the whole page or a specific element.
The extension does not run in the background collecting information from pages you have not chosen to capture, and it does not read pages you have not opened the panel on.
WHAT THE EXTENSION STORES LOCALLY
Using Chrome’s built-in local storage (chrome.storage.local), which is private to your browser and never synced to us, the extension stores:
– A count of how many free page captures you have used.
– Your license key, if you activate one, and the name/identifier associated with it (only what you type into the License tab yourself).
This information stays on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes it.
HOW LICENSE ACTIVATION WORKS
License keys are verified entirely offline, using public-key cryptography built into the extension. Activating a license does not involve any network request to us or to anyone else — the extension checks the key’s cryptographic signature locally and never transmits it anywhere.
PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST, AND WHY
– storage: to remember your free-capture count and license key on your own device.
– activeTab: to read the content of the page you are actively viewing, only when you use the extension on it.
– debugger: used solely to emulate device and viewport sizes while capturing, so responsive layouts are converted accurately. It is attached only while you are actively using this feature and detached immediately after.
– clipboardWrite: to copy the generated Elementor JSON to your clipboard so you can paste it into the Elementor editor.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
– We do not collect, log, or transmit your browsing history.
– We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising SDKs.
– We do not send captured page content, clipboard data, or license information to any server.
– We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any data from your use of the extension.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The extension itself does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing service. Purchasing a full-version license takes place on our website (copypasteelementor.id7studio.com) outside the extension; that purchase process may be subject to a separate privacy policy from our payment provider, which will be presented to you at checkout.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
CopyPaste Elementor is a developer tool intended for building websites and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and publish the revised version at the same URL.
